If you have seen my other post about weaning HERE you will see that Paige has tried baby rice, porridge, apples and sweet potato. These were all very smooth and given to her using a spoon. She seemed to enjoy it.
She is now 5 and a half months and she hasn't really tried anything else new. I know that she is ready for solids as she shows all the signs but it's not like she is drinking a huge amount of milk that I feel like I have to give her solids everyday.
This got me thinking. I gave Paige a carrot stick the other day, peeled and raw just to chew on to help her gums. She loved it!!! She is so good at picking it up and putting it straight in her mouth. This got me thinking about maybe trying baby led weaning when she is 6 months.
I've read a little into it but I would love to hear your experience, good and bad!
I would also love to hear about some good foods to use for baby led weaning! I'm thinking cooked carrot sticks, banana, avocado.
