Paige was kindly sent some lovely items from Baby Bjorn. She got the bib, the plate and spoon set and the baby cup. I will admit that we hadn't tried any Baby Bjorn products until these ones so I was very excited to try them out.
Here is Paige trying out the plate, spoon and bib. First off I love the bib. I didn't think I would as it is very stiff but that actually helps catch all the food. It doesn't make it very easy to travel with though. Paige didn't mind at all that the bib was stiff. I actually tried it on (ask Mark - I really did) I have no idea why but I wanted to see how it felt and it was actually pretty comfy. It also fit me too but no you can't see a picture! :) It retails at £9.99 which I do think is quite reasonable.
The plate and spoon are interesting. First off I like that the plate has high sides. This makes it easier for Paige to push food onto her spoon but this does make it look a little like a dog bowl which for me is quite off putting. It has a wide bottom so that it stays well on the table or highchair and is hard to knock off but can be easily picked up. It retails for £19.99 which I do think is a little expensive but it is a very good quality product. The spoon is quite deep so Paige did have a bit of trouble getting all the food into her mouth. I noticed that a lot was left on the spoon but she used it well and didn't have any other problems.
The baby cup is so cute. It is very solid and again has a wide base making it harder to just knock over. As you can see from the pic we haven't quite figured out the cup with Paige yet. Most of her water did go all over her but she is learning and the cup will be a great tool for her. It is the perfect shape and size and Paige had no problem trying to drink out of it. We will keep practicing with actually getting the water into her mouth! The cup retails at £8.99.
