Bump Update - 17 Weeks
This week the baby is around the size of an turnip. The babies skeleton is also turning from cartilage to bone.
My skin is slightly better this week although I may just be imagining it or hoping. I can't remember when it cleared up with Paige but I remember having that lovely glow after 20 ish weeks.
The nausea if still there especially when I'm tired. Paige has continued to wake up early and still isn't taking naps so it's safe to say I've been in bed by 9pm each night if not 8:30pm. I'm also still having trouble actually falling asleep. I just can't get comfy.
I feel like I'm carrying lower than I did with Paige but maybe I'm just trying to find differences. My bump is defiantly quite low for now but does still change depending on where the baby is laid. I am showing more than I did with Paige at this stage but I'd say only by a week. There's not a huge difference. I'm also still in my normal clothes.
As my bump gets bigger I think I experienced round ligament pain for the first time this week. I don't think I ever had it with Paige and if I did I don't remember it. It was just a short pain on my right side of my belly. It wasn't too painful but was enough that I noticed it. I'm also still getting back ache in the middle of my back. I'm guessing its my body getting used to the extra weight and different shape.
This week I've gone off peas... so very random! And I craved a McFlurry at about 11pm one night. This craving is still not satisfied but I'm not too bothered about it anymore.
I'm still feeling the baby move but its more rolls and changes in position than kicks.
I think that's all for this week. Don't forget to check out week 16.
