Review - Bradvado Maternity/Nursing Bra

I feel a little ashamed to admit this but I've actually never owed a maternity/nursing bra. When you take into account that this is my second pregnancy it is a little shocking.

When I was pregnant with Paige I honestly didn't see the point. I just went out and got a bigger sized normal bra. I didn't take into account the fact that you aren't meant to wear underwired bras when pregnant. I didn't think I'd feel comfortable in anything but my usual bras so I didn't try anything new.

This time I thought that since it didn't do any harm last time I'd probably be ok this time. I am now slapping myself!

When I was given the opportunity to review The Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra I jumped at the chance. I was interested to see what I was missing out on and I was very shocking with the results.

The bra itself was designed to melt onto your body. It is a molded foam cup bra that offers a seamless silhouette with great shape and support. It also has removable foam cups to give you the option of having a thicker cup lining.

I was expecting to be comfortable but not this comfortable. I could honestly wear the bra 24 hours a day and not complain about it once. I sometimes even forget I have it on. It was an instant relief and comfort the first time I wore it.

I was also expecting not a lot of support and was proven wrong again. Now I don't have the biggest chest in the world and since being pregnant I have gone up two cup sizes and that happened really early on in this pregnancy. With Paige I was the size I am now after my milk came in. The support is really nice but comfortable. It feels nice to wear the bra. I thought I'd feel not attractive in a maternity/nursing bra but I don't. I think the pop of colour also helps!

I love the removable cups. They aren't really thick as to add padding but are thick enough to hide nipples which for me is important, I don't like the showing nipple look!

I haven't yet tried the bra out as a nursing bra but as a maternity bra it defiantly gets the thumbs up from me. Also included is a bra conversion kit. This kit allows you to convert the nursing bra into a normal bra after you are finished nursing which is such a lovely idea and means extra wear which means better value for money. This bra retails at £30 which I think is very reasonable.

Did you purchase a maternity/nursing bra?

Thanks for reading,

Nicola Xx
