After last months box I was very excited to receive this months box and I wasn't disappointed.
Let's see what we got in this months box...
Dr Oetker madagascan vanilla grinder £4.99
Be Fast breakfast drinks £1.00 each
Veetee rice £1.49
Urban Fruit pineapple £1.09
Strawberry flavoured Lambrini £3.29
Estrella Damm lager £4.00
Bear Alphabites £2.69
Elizabeth Shaw amaretto flutes £2.59
The contents of this months box add up to £22.14. Which is great considering the £12.99 monthly cost.
Dr Oetker madagascan vanilla grinder £4.99 – Anything baking related is always a big hit with me as I love baking and so does Paige. This will defiantly get used but isn't something that I usually buy so I'm excited to try this out.
Be Fast breakfast drinks £1.00 each - These are such a good idea for a quick and easy breakfast. I'm normally quite good at eating breakfast as I tend to have mine when Paige has hers but Mark is always in a rush in the morning so these drinks were perfect. I tried one of them and it honestly just tasted like banana milkshake, yummy and easy to drink.
Veetee rice £1.49 – I'm not a huge rice fan but mark eats it a lot with curry. It's nice to have some quick and easy rice in the cupboard that he can pop in the microwave and serve along with his curry.
Urban Fruit pineapple £1.09 – I haven't heard of these before and I'm always on the lookout for fruit snacks for me and Paige when we are out. We both tried these and to be honest weren't very keen. I don't particularly like fresh pineapple anyway but thought I'd give them a go. They are such a quick easy and healthy snack though and I'd be interested in trying the other fruits.
Strawberry flavoured Lambrini £3.29 – I'm not much of a drinker at all and having been pregnant for the last 9 months I haven't had alcohol in months and months... Probably closer to a year so I will admit that I was quite excited to see this in the box. I've never tried Lambrini before but this is defiantly a new favourite. It was lovely and I love the price too.
Estrella Damm lager £4.00 - I don't touch larger so Mark tried this and said it was nice. The price is a little more than what we would normally pay as the can was tiny.
Bear Alphabites £2.69 – These are crunchy cereal letters which contain no added junk. Again something which mainly me and Paige would eat. I thought these were lovely as did mark but Paige wasn't so keen. I'm quite surprised that she didn't like them as normally she eats any cereal but I will keep trying her with them as I love the fact they don't have any junk in them.
Elizabeth Shaw amaretto flutes £2.59 – I was a little disappointed to see these in the box again this month. Having tried them last month I wasn't keen so I didn't try them again but mark ate them all up. I do hope they aren't in next months box as I'd love to try something different.
I also noticed that some people received some Dr Oetker chocolate but we didn't. We did however receive the Shaken Udder chocolate milkshake. Paige loved this and it is ideal to pop into the changing bag and whip out if she needs a drink.
Overall I think this box was pretty good. I'm a little disappointed with all the drink items we got but at least the variety was good.
