Parker at 9 Weeks
Another week has passed in the blink of an eye. This week was quite a hard week. Parkers sleep was all over the place ranging from 1-5 wakes up a night with his longest stretch at 6 hours. During the day he would only nap in my arms which was a little hard on Paige but we al got there. I am so lucky that she is so good. I was able to cuddle Parker while he slept and Paige would either play on her own or bring me toys so that I could play with her.
This week he also hated laying down while he was awake. He wanted to be sat or stood up and nothing else would do. When you stand him up he would support his weight quite well and push off on his legs... stop growing up Parker! He also started launching himself forward when sat on your lap.. this plus the grumpiness was a sure sign that he was going through another developmental leap.
The health visitor paid us a visit this week although it wasn't really for Parker, she did however run over weaning a little bit with me. She mostly came to check to see how I was getting on and how we were getting on. Needless to say she wasn't here long as we are all doing amazingly.
He is finally opening his eyes a lot wider this week, like he is understanding that he can actually see things if that makes sense. Before his eyes were nearly always half closed... now they are wide open and taking everything in.
I can't believe that he will be 10 weeks soon. Crazy!
