Get Baking with #aocooks

We were recently contacted by and asked if we wanted to get baking. Of course we said yes, we can't resist baking yummy treats.

We got sent a lovely little baking set filled of goodies for us to use. So far we've only made two different items but I wanted to share with you all what those were. We are hoping to make more soon but there's only so many sweet treats you can make and eat in a week or two.

First off we made some ice lollies. Ice lollies in November... we must be crazy but they've kind of worked out really well. Parker is teething so the cold ice lollies have helped his gums a lot. Making the ice lollies was so simple that Paige did it all by herself. We just made super basic ones with orange cordial. Paige loved doing it all by herself. I just helped pour and attach the sticks. We used the cute jelly baby moulds. They are super flexible so getting the lollies out was super easy.

We also tried out the Jelly Babies cookie cutters. We made simple biscuits and added coloured icing to the top. Paige and Parker both helped with these. I made the dough and they rolled and cut (or in Parkers case ate the dough).

We used the baking mat to help space the biscuits and the cooling rack once the biscuits were cooked. They may not be perfect but they tasted super yummy and I think they look cute.
Paige loves baking and Parker loves it more every time we do it. We try to bake every week or two. Its such a fun family activity that we can all do together and perfect for rainy days.
Do you bake often?
