Last weekend we had plans to travel to my mums for the day. We were all looking forward to a yummy Sunday lunch with family. The weather had other plans.
On Saturday the snow started. We woke up on Sunday to a lovely blanket covering the garden. It snowed the same time last year too, Parker was only 6 months old so didn't really enjoy it and certainly doesn't remember it. Paige doesn't really remember it either. They both looked out of the window this morning and the look on their faces were priceless. Paige was filled with excitement and Parker's face was full of wonder.
When we were all ready we headed out. Paige insisted on wanting to have a snowball fight and making a snow angel. Turns out she was too scared to lay in the snow and make a snow angel but they still had fun. We all did.
Parker loved the snow. He was constantly running around in it with the biggest smile. The only thing he didn't like was touching the snow. He had mittens on but as most toddlers do ripped them off at the first chance he got.
These are my failed attempts at this months mummy and me pictures. Turns out kids would rather play in the snow than pose with mummy, haha.
I love watching these two together, playing and giggling. Sharing different experiences. They had snowball fights and just loved chasing each other around the garden.
Have you had snow? Did you children like it?
