Review - Whisbear

Babies love white noise, it helps to calm them, remind them of the womb and help them drift off to sleep. The Whisbear is an award winning humming bear. It is the first to feature the CRYsensor, which means it automatically turns on when it hears baby crying. The Whisbear is also a sensory toy which promotes fine motor and sensory development.

While I was pregnant we were sent the special edition Christmas Whisbear to use once Harleigh arrived. We've used it every night since and love it. To turn him on you simply squeeze his head and the white noise starts. His little arms and legs are magnetic and we love pop him over the side of the moses basket or cot.

I love the CRYsensor function. I will say that it doesn't seem to work 100% of the time but it is very handy. It  will also turn on if we cough or someone makes a loud noise. Once Whisbear is turned on he turns off after 40 minutes and goes into standby mode. If it hears baby cry it will turn for an extra 20 minutes to try help soothe baby back to sleep. Harleigh will go to back to sleep with the sound of Whisbear and with the CRYsensor it means that we don't have to get out of bed.

I must admit that Harleigh doesn't really use him as a toy yet as, she is only just 3 months old so is just started to grab. Whisbear does have cute black and white ears and coloured legs, all of which have that lovely crinkle to them that babies love.

We love Whisbear and will continue to use him as part of our night time routine and when Harleigh starts napping in her cot we will use him for nap time too.

Does your baby like white noise?
