Siblings - July 2018

Yet another month is gone. I’m excited for School to finish and the holidays to start. I think the kids bond so well during the summer and I just love having them all at home, even if it’s hard work some days.

Last summer they all had chicken pox and we couldn’t do anything so I’m hoping this summer we might be able to get out and about a little more.

Harleigh was only 8/9 months last summer and wasn’t waking yet so this summer will be much more fun in terms of what they can actually do together and how they can play. I’m hoping for some lovely day trips out, time in the garden and visits to the park. We aren’t going on holiday as we went last month but we will still have loads of fun!!

In July we've had some lovely days out and some amazing lazy days. We went to the beach and picking strawberries. Mark also had an operation so the month was very up and down but everything went well and he is on his way to fully recovering and is now back at work.

The kids loved having him at home and loved the couple of fun days we had before his operation. they are so excited about the summer holidays but also can't wait for September to come.

Harleigh - 19 Months Old

Before we know it she will be TWO!

This month Harleigh has cut two more teeth so she now has 14. She has another super close too.

She still isn't talking much and i've started teaching her some signs just so she can communicate with us a little more. So far she has learn 'more' and 'eat'.

She has milk just twice a day now. I replaced the afternoon milk with a snack and that is working well.

She is still such a character. She is so sweet and loving and so funny. She plays really well on her own and together with others.

She is eating well but sleep is a quite bad at the moment, i'm guessing because of the new teeth. She is up multiple times a times and then waking for the day anywhere between 4-6am.

She can build towers, throw and kick a ball, tries to jump, loves to draw, follows instructions well, she loves teddies and dolls, runs, dances, loves playing games, can use a spoon, throws a ball, pretends to feed her teddy.

She is growing up so quickly. I can't wait to watch her but it is so very bittersweet.

Me and Mine - June 2018

June felt like a big month for us, it was certainly busy.

We went our first, and more than likely last, holiday of the year. We went to Bluestone with friends and loved every second. We had so much fun.

Parker turned four and had a great birthday which involved two cakes! We also found out which class Parker will be in and who his teachers will be. He also got his first uniform and book bag. Paige got a wobbly tooth and can't wait for it to fall out. Harleigh cut two more teeth with more on the way.

The weather is so lovely I've lost count of how many garden days and BBQ's we've had. Its great!

June was a lovely month and I must say i'm a little nervous for July to come. The 6 week holidays start soon, Mark has an operation and we have parents evening.

I love our pictures this month, a selfie and a lovely picture in the woods. Both taken on holiday.
