19 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is 6 inches long and just over half a pound in weight. They are covered in vernix to protect their skin.

Symptoms
I've had an increase in movements this week which is lovely. I'm feeling them very low down and to the sides with not much in the middle. I've got to the point where i can't really lie on my back anymore as it's just too uncomfortable, baby is getting big! I've had some more nausea but not loads, constipation and headaches this week too. We also had our 20 week scan at 19+6 which explained why I'm feeling movements where I am. My placenta is anterior and over the top so covers most of the front of my belly.

18 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week the baby is 5.5 inches long and about the size of a boneless chicken breast! The baby has also learn to yawn and will now also hiccup.

Symptoms
I've felt awful all week. I was sick quite a lot this week, multiple times a day for a good 2/3 days. I couldn't keep anything down and was starting to get really worried. It took me a while to feel completely better and I felt very tired and weak. I felt the baby on the outside at 18+4 and Mark also felt the baby for certain after he thought he felt him/her at 16 weeks.

Harleigh - 23 Months Old

This month Harleigh seems so grown up, i can't believe that she is TWO next month! It's so crazy and has flown by.

Harleigh still isn't talking much, she's said a few more words this month but refuses to say them again. She said tree, Eliza and more. She will also make a monkey and cat noise now and will usually do those on demand. She understands so much so we aren't too worried about her speech, I'm sure it will come soon.

Her eating is more or less the same. Sleep is a little up and down and nap times aren't great. We've also noticed that the terrible twos are starting a little early. She knows her mind and will let you know if she doesn't want to do something.

She loves my belly and is constantly touching it or wanting to kiss it, she is going to make such a good big sister.

17 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is around 5 inches long and body fat is beginning to form. The heartbeat is now regulated by the brain and beating 140-150 times a minute. Baby is also practicing sucking and swallowing.

Symptoms
I've had nausea only once or twice this week which was nice but I was sick once. I've noticed an increase in heartburn and get it after most meals. I'm still having quite a few breakouts which sucks. Sleep is also an issue as i'm having super vivid dreams so feel like I'm not resting. I find myself not needing to snack every hour which is nice but might be why I was sick. I'm growing so much and feel like i'm popping now. I've felt more movement too which is lovely, i can't wait for Mark and the kids to feel.

Siblings - October 2018

I feel a little bit sad this month. It's the last month before Harleigh turns two and I barely got any pictures of the gang together at all. The weeks just fly by when we are in the routine of school, especially as the darker nights roll in.

One of their favourite things to do together this month is colour, they all really enjoy it. They are all also loving that my belly is growing and they love kissing and cuddling my bump, it's so cute.

The school holidays are coming up and I can't wait for them to start. During term time we don't really get that much time together so it will be lovely to spend time together in the holidays.

16 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week the baby is 11.6cm from crown to rump and weighs around 100g. The placenta is growing to keep up with babies growth. The neck and back bones are now stronger which hold the head more upright and the grasp is getting stronger so baby may be able to hold onto their own hands. The circulatory system is now full working and pumping 49 litres of blood around everyday.

Symptoms
This week the nausea has continued a little and the heartburn has started. So far it's only on a night time and isn't too bad. My skin is still rubbish but my hair isn't getting as greasy which is nice. I'm having a hard time sleeping, waking often and having such vivid dreams again. I feel like my bump is really starting to show now but is still hidden sometimes depending what I wear.

Me and Mine - September

This month was a funny one. I feel like we haven't spent much family time together at all. Mark is currently working overtime at work, he's only had 2 days off since he started which is crazy. We are all feeling it. The kids miss him so much and so do I.

I am so excited to spend some proper family time together but at the moment we aren't really sure when that will be.

This picture was taken very last minute at the weekend, we decided we needed a little family treat and booked a meal out. We don't do it that often but it was lovely, we need to make it a more regular thing I think!

September saw Paige returning to school, she is loving year 2 so far. Parker also started reception. He is loving it and has settled in so well. When did he get so big?!

Me and Harleigh are loving the routine that school brings, it also means our playgroup is back on so we are enjoying seeing friends more.

I am excited for October. We get to see baby again and I can't wait but it also brings us a month closer to Harleigh turning 2 which i am so not ready for.
