Skiphop Greenwich Convertible Backpack Review

I love bags and as a mum I love changing bags. I've owned quite a few now and would still love to try lots more out, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine!

I was recently sent the Greenwich convertible backpack from Skiphop and I've loved testing it out.

The bag is a gorgeous grey colour and doesn't look like a typical changing bag, I love that about the Skiphop bags! Practical but stylish!

As the name suggests it can be worn as a backpack but also converted using the strap, which is comfortable to wear. It's super easy to convert and takes just a few minutes to do. I must admit that i rarely use it as a backpack as it just isn't my style.

Inside there are lots of pockets and a great amount of space. I do love pockets in changing bags, it helps keep everything together and organised. There are bottle holders on the sides outside the bag and also a lovely zip compartment, I use this is pop my essentials!

Also included are handy stroller straps, for me these are a must have. They let you attach the bag onto the handles of a stroller or pram. They are super easy to use and mean you aren't taking up valuable basket space or having to carry the bag on your back or shoulder, as we all know changing bags can get quite heavy.

The changing mat which is included is nice and has its own handy pocket so you always know where it is. It isn't super thick or padded but does the job well.

I am very much looking forward to using the bag more once baby arrives and think it will be perfect for the baby and Harleigh as they will both be with me all the time.

33 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is 4.2lbs and 43.7cm long. The brain and nervous system are full developed and baby is starting to develop their own immune system. The skin is becoming less and less wrinkled as fat is forming under the skin. The skin is also looking a lot less red because of this too.

Symptoms
This week was quite eventful. I ended up in hospital for 4 hours. I was having heart palpitations and shortness of breath. The heart palpitations are quite frequent in this pregnancy but the shortness of breath isn't usually an issue. I was also having reduced movements so I phoned the midwife and she told me to go to A&E first to get checked out and then up to get the baby monitored. Whilst at A&E I had an ecg and everything came back normal. Just before we got there I started having quite regular braxton hicks around 3 minutes apart. Once I was with the midwife I mentioned this and after sitting on the monitor for half an hour they started to get concerned about my contractions and I was having pressure in my hips. By this point baby was moving up a storm, always happens as soon as the monitor is on. They called a doctor to come see me. He said he wanted to check me to make sure the contractions weren't changing my cervix and luckily they weren't so we got to go home. On the monitor they were reading around 40-50 and normal labour contractions read around 100, person depending.
A couple of days later i had yet more regular braxton hicks at 4-5 minutes apart for 2 hours.
I've also had the usual dry skin, heart burn, pelvic pain and also my nose is bleeding a little in the mornings.
Baby also feels lower and lower each day.

32 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is around 3.7lbs and 42.4cm long. They are getting so big. The finger nails and toe nails and fully formed and hair is getting thicker. Baby is also starting to prepare for birth by laying head down.

Symptoms
This week I felt awful. Really weak, nausea, headaches, tired and such bad heartburn at night. I also started having more braxton hicks and the baby was moving so much. I noticed that my skin on my forehead is so much clearer now which is nice but it is quite dry on my cheeks and my hands.

31 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is around 3.3lbs and 41cm long. Baby is shedding the lanugo hair and starting to look more like a newborn.

Symptoms
This week I was so close to actually throwing up again, it almost happened twice. I also had more nausea, headaches, heartburn and dry skin. I had another midwife appointment this week and I'm measuring 31cm which is perfect. I also had some bloods done as I was having really itchy feet at night time. They came back all clear.

Siblings - January 2019

The first sibling post of 2019 and one of the last ones as a three. Baby is due at the beginning of March so we will only have next months post to go and then March should include baby! I am so excited to see them altogether and we actually got a little peek at how that might look.

I love this little picture so much. I love that Harleigh is hiding and Paige is laughing at her. I also love that Parker is smiling at the picture of the baby.

This past month we've had the school holidays, which was lovely and went by so quickly. That also included Christmas. Mark had some time off and the kids loved spending some extra time with him and each other!

We also went on some lovely family walks and just enjoyed time together and tried to soak up the time as a five.

I feel a lot bigger this week, baby is in my ribs and i can really tell that my uterus is growing more and more. I've also had more nausea and was almost sick. My feet are usually quite itchy at night time along with quite restless legs. Its so hard to fall asleep. I weighed myself this week and so far i've gained around 19lbs which is perfect and right on track!

29 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is around 2.5lbs and 38.6cm long. The brain is growing more and more complex and this requires a lot of energy from baby. Bones are continuing to harden.

Symptoms
This week i've had a lot of nausea again, I think it's here to stay now. My hands are still dry but my skin is clearing a little. My gums are also bleeding again and I can smell everything, I feel like i'm back in the first trimester all over again.

We had a 4d scan this week and saw baby again which was amazing. It was so good too see baby again and to have our first 4d scan, we've never had one before so it was amazing. The kids came along too and loved it!

28 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is measuring around 2.2lbs and is 37.6cm long. The heart rate is slightly slower now but still around twice as fast as mine. Baby also has eyelashes and can produce tears. Hiccups are also very common to feel from now.

Symptoms
My belly has itched even more this week, right near my belly button. I'm also getting that dark line, although it is still very faint and just on the lower half of my belly. My skin still isn't great and is quite dry. My hands and feet are also very dry too. I get pins and needles in my arm if I rest a certain way on the sofa and my pelvis is quite sore this week, especially if im sat on the floor or stood for a while. My sleep is still very up and down, I toss and turn a lot. Baby is still moving up a storm and gets hiccups around twice a day now.

Me and Mine - December 2018

December went by so quickly that I totally forgot about my me and mine post. December was a lovely month and went by so quickly as we were so busy.

We had our God Daughters second birthday, Christmas, time with family, road trips, a meal out and even a few cheeky take away nights which were lovely.

Christmas was lovely this year, hectic but I don't think that will change with 4 children next year! We spent it at home, just the five of us, something which we do every year and we wouldn't have it any other way. We spent Boxing Day with my dad and his partner which was lovely too. I really wanted to get a picture by the tree which my bump in too which we totally managed!!

I am very much looking forward to January. We will celebrate my best friend hopefully having her baby and Marks birthday. It will also bring us a month closer to meeting our little one. I can't believe that soon we will have another little member of the family. I wonder when they will arrive.

2018 was a good year. We didn't really plan on getting pregnant when 2018 started but everything happens for a reason. We enjoyed some lovely family days and a lovely holiday at bluestone. Harleigh also started walking and eventually talking. Parker started full time school and Paige lost her first two teeth. I don't know what 2019 will hold, apart from a new little family member, let's wait and see!

27 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #4

Baby
This week baby is 1.9lbs and 36.6cm long. This week baby will open their eyes for the first time. Baby will also have a more regular pattern of awake and sleep time. They also start dreaming too.

Symptoms
This week i've not slept well at all. My skin is also quite rubbish and my belly is itching a lot, from all that growing! I also had a midwife appointment near the end of the week. Everything was perfect and baby is measuring a little over a week behind which isn't a problem at all.
