Six Week Update - Mum and Baby

These weeks are going far too quickly.

At 6 weeks postpartum I feel great. A little bit tired but surely that's expected. My legs are feeling better and my skin isn't too great but apart from that i can't complain. I also lost 3lbs since which is good, it's nice to see the scale finally moving again. i must admit I think i've struggled the most this time around with my body after pregnancy, well my weight after pregnancy. I gained the most I ever had this pregnancy, purely because i didn't have HG so I didn't lose much weight in the beginning when i usually lost around half a stone. I know in time it will get better and i will lose the weight but I am trying to speed it along anyway I can and it looks like it's finally starting to shift.

Before birth and 6 weeks after

Kingsley is doing so well. He slept 6 hours one night which was amazing, he usually does 4 hours at first and then is up every 1-2 hours. He did 9pm until 3am, had a feed and then went back down. Generally speaking he never really had his days and nights mixed up which was lovely, he is usually awake for a little while in the mornings and the evenings too. He is giving us so many more smiles and is cooing at us too. Its so lovely to see that interaction but I already miss my sleepy newborn, I love those first few weeks. He is eating 4oz every 2-3 hours and is wearing 0-3m clothes. He has a little bit of baby acne but not too badly, he also has cradle cap too. He is still a little fussy in the evening around 7-9pm. He's such a good boy in general and is so happy and content.
